Synopsis

Hard Times (1975) follows a solitary drifter who partners with a fast-talking promoter to compete in underground street fights in Depression-era Louisiana. As their operation grows, gambling debts and rival fighters create mounting pressure that threatens their stability and safety. This action drama blends stark realism and character-driven tension in an exploration of survival, loyalty, and economic hardship.
