The night He came home!

After escaping from a psychiatric institution, masked killer Michael Myers returns to his suburban hometown of Haddonfield to resume the violence that began with the murder of his sister. The film juxtaposes his relentless pursuit of Laurie Strode and her peers with the futile efforts of psychiatrist Dr. Loomis to contain him. Blending minimalist style, suspense-driven pacing, and suburban anxieties, it established a modern template for the slasher genre.
