Film Synopsis
Ghoulies (1985) centers on a man who moves into his late father’s decaying estate with his girlfriend and gradually discovers evidence of satanic ceremonies and demonic conjuration hidden within the mansion. As occult experimentation, possession, and bizarre supernatural manifestations intensify during gatherings at the house while small demonic creatures begin terrorizing the inhabitants, his growing obsession with black magic threatens to repeat the horrors of his family’s past. This horror-comedy film examines corruption and supernatural temptation within a grotesque gothic setting, as self-control deteriorates, with satanic ritual, demonic creatures, and psychological possession.
