Edition and Packaging Notes
- BFI’s Blu-ray includes an 18-page booklet with writing by David Thompson (“Paris by Night”), an article by Ginette Billard (“French Cancan”, 1955), and a Jean Renoir biography by Philip Kemp.
- Criterion’s DVD is included in the “Stage & Spectacle: Three Films by Jean Renoir” box set with The Golden Coach (1952) and Elena and Her Men (1956). It includes a booklet with writing by Jonathan Rosenbaum and Andrew Sarris.
