A terrifying tale of sluts and bolts.

Synopsis

Frankenhooker (1990) follows a medical school dropout whose fiancée is killed in a gruesome accident, prompting him to preserve her head and pursue a method of reanimation. As he assembles a new body from the remains of sex workers and brings it to life through experimental bioelectricity, the revived figure escapes and leaves a trail of destructive encounters. This black comedy horror film develops grim tension, with obsession, bodily reconstruction, and warped idealism driving violent outcomes.
