‘Fail Safe’ will have you sitting on the brink of eternity!
Fail-Safe (1964) follows a United States administration as it faces the nightmare scenario of a Cold War nuclear crisis when a mechanical glitch sends strategic bombers toward Moscow with live atomic warheads. As top government officials and military officers struggle to recall the aircraft and avert disaster, the president takes extraordinary steps to communicate with Soviet leaders and prevent all-out nuclear war. The escalating tension, moral weight and uncertainty combine in a stark portrayal of brinkmanship and human fallibility under the threat of annihilation.
