Film Synopsis
E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) follows a suburban boy who discovers and shelters an alien left behind on Earth after its companions depart. As government agents begin searching the area and the creature’s condition deteriorates, he and his siblings work to hide it and prepare a way to send it back into space. This science fiction adventure film centers on a bond between child and outsider, as time runs out, with friendship, secrecy, and protection.
