When torch and tomahawk spread their terror and frontier women fought beside their men!
Synopsis
Drums Along the Mohawk (1939) follows newly married settlers who begin building a life together in the Mohawk Valley on the eve of the American Revolutionary War. As the conflict spreads across the frontier, their community faces repeated attacks from British-allied forces and must organize defenses to protect their homes and families. This historical drama blends frontier hardship, wartime suspense, and patriotic resolve in a portrayal of civilian life during the Revolutionary struggle.
