Synopsis

Divorce Italian Style (1961) follows a Sicilian nobleman trapped in an unhappy marriage who becomes infatuated with his teenage cousin. As he devises an elaborate plan to engineer a so-called crime of honor that will free him from his wife, his scheme grows increasingly calculated and risky. This Italian comedy blends satire and dark humor in a story of social hypocrisy, obsession, and the manipulation of tradition.
