Film Synopsis

Crimes of Passion (1984) follows a suburban electronics store owner who moonlights doing surveillance and becomes obsessed with a fashion designer, only to discover she leads a secret life as a nocturnal prostitute under the name “China Blue.” As he becomes entangled in her double existence, he finds himself caught between his stifled marriage and his dangerous fascination. This erotic thriller blends psychological tension, moral ambiguity, and taboo desire in a provocative study of identity and repression.
