Film Synopsis
Crime Thief (1969) portrays a dissatisfied husband and father who witnesses a young woman take her own life. After anonymously claiming that he murdered her, he abandons his domestic routine and retreats into an increasingly elaborate delusion. This French-Italian psychological crime drama filters its study of obsession and alienation through a paranoid, progressively unstable perspective.
