Every picture tells a story.
In 1969 Paris, a young American film editor named Paul works on a campy sci-fi adventure while secretly trying to make a deeply personal black-and-white art film. Torn between his devotion to his girlfriend and his fascination with the glamorous star of the movie he edits, Paul struggles to reconcile his artistic ambitions with the chaos of his personal life. The film playfully explores the clash between commercial filmmaking and personal expression against the backdrop of the countercultural era.
