Synopsis
Blame It on Rio (1984) follows two longtime friends who travel to Rio de Janeiro with their teenage daughters amid marital strain and personal upheaval. During the trip, one man becomes involved in a clandestine relationship that threatens both families and their friendship. This romantic comedy blends farce and uncomfortable social satire in a story of midlife crisis and betrayal.
