Amok

Synopsis

Amok (1963) centers on a group of young women who flee a juvenile detention facility in search of freedom. As they seek refuge on an isolated island while a gang of men led by a ruthless former Nazi searches for buried treasure nearby, the two groups are drawn into a brutal struggle where survival becomes increasingly uncertain. This Greek adventure drama examines violence and human nature within an unforgiving wilderness, as desperation, greed, and exploitation collide through shifting alliances, psychological conflict, and escalating danger.
