Film Synopsis
Alice Goodbody (1974) follows a naive but ambitious hamburger waitress and film buff whose Hollywood dreams begin when she is offered a small part in a film musical. She believes that sleeping with influential crew members will help her move up the cast list, but a series of comic mishaps and on-set injuries keep slowing her progress. This sex comedy blends risqué encounters and slapstick humour in a farcical study of ambition, desire and the odd workings of show business.
