Let yourself go… they do!
Age of Consent (1969) follows a once-celebrated artist who withdraws from the commercial art world and travels to the Great Barrier Reef, where he encounters a spirited island girl eager to escape her confined life. As he persuades her to model for him against the objections of her domineering grandmother, their uneasy partnership evolves into mutual awakening and self-discovery. This romantic drama blends tropical sensuality and artistic introspection in a reflective study of creativity, freedom, and generational tension.
