Film Synopsis
Adventures of a Private Eye (1977) follows the inexperienced assistant Bob West, who steps in when his private detective boss goes on holiday and finds himself handling a blackmail case involving a glamorous model. His investigation leads him through a quirky cast of suspects and eccentric locales, including a mysterious stately home, secret passages, and a lively cabaret club. This British sex-comedy blends mistaken identity, light crime capers, and saucy humour in a playful study of amateur sleuthing and comic misadventure.
