Synopsis
Abby (1974) follows a young woman whose life is overtaken after an ill-advised attempt to channel spiritual forces opens the door to demonic possession. As her behavior grows increasingly violent and transgressive, faith, marriage, and community bonds fracture under the strain. This supernatural horror blends blaxploitation energy and religious terror in a confrontational study of repression, desire, and corrupted belief.
