The Curious Dr. Humpp

A curious film indeed, this black and white Argentinean production was beefed up and lengthened by its American distributor by the insertion of more than 17 minutes of sex scenes. These sequences were edited into the main footage with all the finesse of the worst of Al Adamson’s films. This does go someway to explaining why, fifteen minutes into the movie, many viewers will be wondering when something is going to actually happen. … The copious nudity actually gets in the way of the more interesting aspects of this one. … If you can make it to the end the final five minutes are exploitation gold, featuring a stabbing, a melting corpse, and the Italian brain in a jar becoming so upset it explodes.
