Film Synopsis
Skidoo (1968) introduces a retired San Francisco mobster whose former boss pressures him to enter prison and kill a potential informer. A cellmate’s association with LSD complicates the assignment, while his wife opens their home to their daughter’s hippie boyfriend and his friends. This psychedelic crime comedy brings gangster conventions into collision with flower power, using broad slapstick and surreal hallucinations to frame its generational conflict.
