A devout ascetic lives atop a pillar in the desert, seeking spiritual purity and detachment from the world. Despite his isolation, he becomes a reluctant spectacle and is continually tempted by Satan in various forms. His journey takes an unexpected turn that questions the boundaries between sanctity and absurdity.
