In fascist Italy during the final days of World War II, four wealthy and powerful men abduct a group of teenagers and subject them to a prolonged ordeal of sadistic abuse and dehumanization. Isolated in a remote villa, the victims are forced to participate in increasingly horrific acts as their captors revel in absolute control. This controversial and harrowing film offers a brutal allegory of power, corruption, and the collapse of morality.
