Survive the horror

Resident Evil (2002) portrays an amnesiac woman accompanying a security unit into a sealed underground research complex operated by the Umbrella Corporation. After the team disables the computer controlling the facility, reanimated personnel emerge and the survivors must reach the surface before the exits close. This science-fiction action horror translates Capcom’s survival-horror mechanics into a countdown-driven escape in which the complex’s industrial corridors continually reveal new hazards.
