  For all of its defects, there are some positive notes to be found. The easy-listening score has its moments, and it’s hardly trying to watch Diana Lorys—a much underused and under appreciated actress—in assorted states of undress. Craggy Eddie Constantine is as enjoyable as ever. The sets are also vibrant … And, if nothing else, you can at least appreciate Residence for its unique ‘death by X-ray machine’.
