Film Synopsis
Perfect Friday (1970) concerns a dissatisfied deputy bank manager in London who recruits a cash-strapped aristocrat and his wife to steal his branch’s cash reserve. Their preparations depend on exploiting bank procedures, while attraction and mistrust threaten the cooperation the robbery requires. This heist comedy moves between planning and execution through shifts in chronology, drawing dry humour from an exacting employee’s attempts to direct his privileged accomplices.
