Mistress of the World

Mistress of the World is a quite stupendously dull film. This is partly because it suffers from some of the worst editing imaginable, but also because the script is incredibly slight for such a long running time. … Things do perk up toward the last third, when it develops into your basic, old-fashioned “exotic” adventure.
