A brilliant but deranged surgeon becomes obsessed with restoring the hands of a criminal he idolizes by transplanting them onto a young pianist. As the pianist struggles with terrifying impulses and madness, his life spirals out of control. The surgeon’s obsession leads to deadly consequences, blurring the line between science and horror.
