A neurotic psychiatrist arrives at a mysterious mental institution to assume his new role, only to uncover a sinister conspiracy among the staff. Plagued by his own fear of heights, he becomes the target of murder plots, mistaken identities, and escalating paranoia. A loving parody of Hitchcock thrillers, the film blends suspense and slapstick as the doctor fights to clear his name and conquer his phobia.
